Mr. Richard Allen "Ricky" Colvin, age 63, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Colvin, born April 26, 1939, in Palestine, was the son of Augustus "Gus" Colvin and Lillian "Dixie" Goodwin. He lived in St. Francis County for all of his life and was an employee of United Medical in Wynne. He was a veteran of the Army and a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church.
Mr. Colvin is survived by two daughters; Kim Milligan of Bartlett, Tenn., and Rhonda Putt of Cordova, Tenn; his parents; four brothers, Darrell Colvin, Carl Colvin and Ira Colvin, all of Forrest City and Raymond Colvin of Brownsville, Texas; a sister, Janet O'Tinger of Crawfordsville; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John Colvin, William Colvin and Vernon Colvin.
Visitation services for Mr. Colvin will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2003, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Stevens Chapel. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
