Mr. John Franklin White Sr., age 65, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at his home.
Mr. White, born June 1, 1937, in Forrest City, was a retired inspector with Yale Hoist. He is survived by his wife, Ann White, of Forrest City; four sons, John Franklin White Jr., Benjamin White and Justin White, all of Forrest City, Danny White of Shalimar, Fla.; three daughters, Renita White, Forrest City, Regenia Howard of Memphis and Jessica White of Forrest City; four sister, Lois E. Dean and Dorothy Garrett, both of Forrest City, Sederia L. Daniel of American Canyon, Calif. and Lillian W. Ross of Sherwood; two stepdaughters, Takita Jordan of Forrest City and Pamela Jordan of Pine Bluff; one stepson, Calvin Jordan Jr., of Pine Bluff; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mr. White will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wayne Ross Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
