Mr. Anzie B. Tubbs, 81, Forrest City, died Monday, March 31, 2003 at Baptist Memorial-Hospital-Forrest City.
Mr. Tubbs was born April 12, 1921 in Widener. He was a retired electrician, plumber and carpenter.
He is survived by four sons, Anzie B. Tubbs Jr. and Roy Lee Tubbs, both of Detroit, Mich., Bennett Tubbs of Mesquite, Texas and Kenneth Tubbs of Forrest City; a daughter, Barbara Smith of Lake View Terrace, Calif.; a sister, Lucy Johnson of Detroit, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mr. Tubbs will be held at Clay Funeral Home Friday, April 4, 2003, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2003, at 11 a.m. in Lane Chapel CME Church, with the Rev. Ronald A. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
