Mr. Richard Johnson Sr., age 61, of Colt, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.
Mr. Johnson, born Jan. 1, 1942, in Driver, was the son of Richard Johnson Sr. and Earnestine Wilson Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Wilson Johnson of Colt; six daughters, Kimberly Johnson, Andrese Johnson Evelyn Johnson and Leanne Johnson, all of Pontiac, Mich., and Amanda Lyles of Colt; three sons, Derrick Johnson of Pontiac, Mich., and Dexter Lyles and Matthew Lyles, both of Colt; two sisters, Lilly Johnson of St. Louis, Mo., and Dorothy Johnson of Pontiac, Mich., and one granddaughter.
Visitation services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, from noon to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at 1 p.m. at United Christian M.B. Church with Rev. Norris Latham officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery.
