Mr. Joseph Henry Hartman Sr., age 50, of Nashville, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Hartman was born Oct. 31, 1952, in Forrest City, and was the son of Calvin Hartman and Jennie Cook Hartman. He lived in Nashville for the past 20 years where he attended the Ridgeway Baptist Church and was an electrician and served in the National Guard. He had also been a volunteer fireman in Forrest City.
Mr. Hartman married Beverly Atnip in 1983 and she survives him along with two daughters, Sarah Reese of Nashville and Jamie Manning of Sherwood; two sons, Joseph Henry "Jodie" Hartman Jr. of Jacksonville and John Paul Latham of Atlanta, Ga. ;his parents of Forrest City; two sisters, Shelia Adock of Memphis and Brenda May of Forrest City; and a brother, Brett Hartman of Forrest City.
Visitation for Mr. Hartman will be held on Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at the St. Francis Catholic Church at 2 p.m. with burial following at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
