Carolyn Ann Bobo

Ms. Carolyn Ann Bobo, age 38, of Heth, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.

Ms. Bobo, born Dec. 2, 1964, in Hughes, is survived by her mother, Annie Bobo of Heth; a son, Devonta Lamar Bobo of Heth; four brothers, Nelson Bobo of Miami, Fla., Eddie Bobo of Dallas, Texas, Dale Bobo of Caldwell and James Bobo of Heth and four sisters, Verbal Lee Williams of Ft. Worth, Texas, Alma Rose Dortch of Chicago, Ill., Shirley Goodall Williams and Darlene Neal, both of Heth.

Visitation for Ms. Bobo will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 2 p.m. at New Light M.B. Church with Rev. James Bobo officiating. Burial will follow at Shirloh Cemetery in Widener.


Barbara Ann Hamilton

Mrs. Barbara Ann Roebuck Hamilton, age 46, of Colt, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Baptist Health in North Little Rock.

Mrs. Hamilton was born Sept. 19, 1956, in Forrest City, the daughter of Verdo Roebuck and Mary Lou Kimble Roebuck. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Hamilton of Colt; her father of Forrest City; a daughter, Sherita Hamilton of Forrest City; four sons, Clyde Dale Hamilton of Dermott, Nicholas Hamilton of Varner and Dewayne Hamilton and Gregory Hamilton both of Forrest City. She is also survived by five sisters, Joyce Davenport, Linda Thomas, Lisa Roebuck White and Angela Roebuck all of Forrest City and Stacy Roebuck of Gordon; five brothers, Robert Sain of Milwaukee, Wis., Dennie Roebuck of Hollywood, Fla., Billy Roebuck of Boston, Mass. and Benjamin Roebuck and Eric Roebuck both of Forrest City; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Hamilton will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah M.B. Church with Rev. Connie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery.


Glennon Miller

Mr. Glennon Miller, age 84, of West Memphis, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.

Mr. Miller, born April 13, 1919, in Marked Tree, was a retired assembly line worker and a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by a son, Glennon Miller Jr., of Memphis; a sister, Christine Patlow of Tupelo, Miss.; two brothers Tommy Lee Miller of Jackson, Miss., and Willie Miller of Maywood, Ill.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Miller will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the chapel of Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at Summerfield M.B. Church with Rev. Connie Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Casteel Cemetery.


Kristy Vinson

Ms. Kristy Vinson, age 24, of Mountain Home, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at her home. She was a homemaker, mother and attended Eastside Baptist Church.

Ms. Vinson was born March 17, 1979, in Mountain Home, the daughter of Randy Mooney and Lynn May Parker and was a 1997 graduate of Mountain Home High School.

Ms. Vinson is survived by her two sons, Austin Keith and Benton Anthony Vinson of the home; her father and step-mother, Regina Mooney of Mountain Home; her mother and step father, Scot Parker of Gassville; a sister, Lea Ann Parker of Gassville, and a brother, Chad Mooney of Mountain Home. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Ercille Mooney of Forrest City; maternal grandmother, Kathryn May of Forrest City; maternal great-grandmother, Bertsie Clark of Forrest City, and maternal step-grandfather Don Parker of Mountain Home.

Visitation for Ms. Vinson will be held on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, from 12 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home. Burial will follow in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Pediatric Daycare Clinic in Mountain Home.
