Mrs. Betty Lou Prescott, age 63, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Prescott was born June 26, 1940, in Arkansas, the daughter of Bert Carter and Opal Carr Carter Barnes. She lived in Forrest City for most of her life and was a housewife.
Mrs. Prescott is survived by a daughter, Sherrie Ann Prescott, six brothers, Bobby Joe Carter, Larry Heath, Tommy Heath and Donnie Heath all of Forrest City, Charles Heath of Palestine and Jimmy Heath of Searcy; three sisters, Shirley Peaks of West Memphis, Debra Taylor of California and Brenda Holmes of Forrest City. She was preceded in death by one son, Randy Lee Prescott in 1984.
Funeral services for Mrs. Prescott will be held graveside at 2 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Forrest Park Cemetery. The Steven Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
