Mr. Thomas "Tommy" B. DeVazier, age 63, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. DeVazier was born Dec. 6, 1940, in Caldwell, the son of Clarence DeVazier and Maureen Porter DeVazier. He lived in Forrest City for all of his life, and was owner and operator of Arkansas Concrete, a past president of Arkansas Ready Mix Concrete Association and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. DeVazier married Donna Austin in 1960 and she survives him along with a son, Brad DeVazier of Forrest City; a daughter, Shawn DeVazier Maynard of Forrest City and five grandsons.
Visitation for Mr. DeVazier will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held graveside on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Forrest Park Cemetery, at 3 p.m.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, the St. Francis County Humane Society or to the American Society for the Prevention of the Cruelty to Animals.
Ms. Julie Anne Griffith, age 47, of Little Rock, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at Baptist Hosptial in Little Rock.
Ms. Griffith, born Dec. 14, 1956, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon F. Griffith Sr. of Forrest City. She was a former resident of Arkansas Children's Colony in Conway and was a resident of Park View Nusing Facility.
Ms. Griffith is survived by her parents; two sisters, Janet Elaine Griffith of Forrest City and Jennie Griffith Pierce of Jacksonville; two brothers, Gordon F. Griffith Jr. of Greenwood and Nicholas C. Griffith III of Muscat, Oman.
Graveside services for Ms. Griffith will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis. Forest Hill Midtown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests memorials be sent to Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church, the Hospice Foundation of Arkansas or the charity of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Farra Jane Perdzock, age 61, of Collierville, Tenn., died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown.
Mrs. Perdzock was a retired realtor with Crye-Leike realtors and was a member of the Church of the Incarnation. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Joseph E. Perdzock Sr.; a daughter, Carolyn Stamey of Memphis; two sons, Joseph E. Perdzock Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and James Walton Perdzock of Memphis; one brother, Jere Crenshaw of Union City, Tenn., and one granddaughter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Perdzock will be held on Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Collierville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Mr. Christopher Alan Spencer, age 21, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Spencer was born May 6, 1982, in Little Rock, the son of Gregory Alan Spencer and Jenna Johnson Spencer. He lived in Forrest City for all of his live and was an employee of Medillon Foods in Newport.
Mr. Spencer is survived by his daughter, Anna Spencer of Mountain Home; a son, Austin Spencer of Mountain Home; his father of Colt; his mother and step-father Shelly Bieber both of Forrest City; a brother, Tyler Spencer of Forrest City; a step-brother Mark Bieber of Forrest City; and a step-sister, Brooke Cox of Forrest City. Also surviving him are his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Shirley Johnson of Newark and Mel and Cookie Hubbard of Little Rock; and paternal grandparents Warren and Shirley Spencer of Colt.
Visitation for Mr. Spencer will be held on Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Satuday, Dec. 27, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home with Bro. William Witcher and Bro. Charlie Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Dossie B. White, age 66, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at her home.
Mrs. White, born Dec. 1, 1937, in Somerville, Tenn., is survived by her husband, William Sherman White of Forrest City; a daughter, Debra Brewer of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Charles Brewer and Jerry Brewer of Memphis; six sisters, Mattie Brown of Memphis; Odalia Jones, Janice Sennett, Juanita Maclin and Vangeline Shaw, all of Somerville, Tenn., and Lorice Love of Los Angeles, California; and one grandchild.
Visitation for Mrs. White will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at Prosperity M.B. Church with Rev. Uzziah Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
