Mr. James Carroll McCullar, age 71, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. McCullar was born May 6, 1932, in Mineral Wells, Miss., the son of Otto and Mary Flinn McCullar. He was retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers at the W.G. Huxtable facility in Lee County and a Methodist.
Mr. McCullar is survived by his wife, Evelena McCullar of the home; two daughters, Gina Griffin of Galliano, La. and Geri Whittaker of Vermont; four stepdaughters, Teresa Campbell and Angel Tapp both of Forrest City, Susan Mills of Las Vegas, Nev. and Robin Harris of Cabot; one stepson, Jay Robertson of Forrest City and 21 grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. McCullar will be scheduled at a later date. Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
