Elder Michael Thomas "M.T." Dedner, age 61, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Baptist Memorial HospitalForrest City.
Elder Dedner was born Nov. 16, 1941, in Forrest City. He was a retired T.V. analyst and a veteran of the United States Army.
Elder Dedner is survived by his wife, Shirley Dedner of Forrest City; his father, Sherman Dedner Sr. of Forrest City; a son Darryl Dedner of Forrest City; two daughters, Tracey Bell of Forrest City and LaShonda Dean of Beaumont, Texas; four brothers, Sylvester Peoples of Chicago, Ill., Sherman Dedner Jr., Joseph King and Charles Howard all of Forrest City; three sisters, Eula Mae Humphery of Memphis, Vester Lee Franklin of Chicago, Ill. and Younqunette Little of Forrest City and six grandchildren.
Visitation for Elder Dedner will be held at the Clay Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 17, 2003 from 1 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Living God Temple #273 with Bishop Elbert Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
