Mr. Emmitt Hall Sr., age 70, of Colt, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at Cross Ridge Hospital in Wynne.
Mr. Hall was born Aug. 23, 1932, in Palestine, the son of O. Murry Hall and Georgia Collins. He was a funeral attendant at Woodhouse Mortuary and retired from Amtrak in Chicago, Ill.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Dannice Tabron Hall of the home; his mother Georgia Collins of Chicago, Ill.; three daughters, Glendora Hall and Darlene Hall both of Chicago, Ill., and Murline Byers of Forrest City; three sons, Emmitt Hall Jr. and Clevland Hall both of Chicago, Ill., and Willie Hall of Forrest City; one sister, Balance Davis of Forrest City; two brothers, Harvey Collins and Robert Collins both of Chicago, Ill., and a step-mother Gonzella Hollins.
Visitation for Mr. Hall will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at 12 noon at the Moriah M. B. Church with Rev. Connie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanley Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Lonnie Williams, of Forrest City, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. He is survived by two sisters, Jennette Williams of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Jerldine White of Indianapolis, Ind., and one brother, Louis Everett of Forrest City.
Visitation for Mr. Williams will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Days Temple Church of God in Christ in Forrest City. Funeral services will follow at the church with burial in Forrest City Cemetery.
