ALMA -- Harrison Wood Motors won two games at the American Legion AA state tournament to stay alive, starting with a 9-0 victory over Jonesboro and ending with a 6-3 decision over Little Rock Arkansas Trailer.
The Blazers (31-13 ) will play Greenwood at 5 p.m. today.
The tournament championship game is Tuesday at 5 p.m.
Greenbrier sent Harrison to the loser's bracket Friday with a 10-5 victory.
Harrison's 6-3 victory over Arkansas Trailer included a controversial call involving a suicide squeeze play during the fifth inning with the bases loaded when the Blazers scored four runs to break a 2-2 tie.
Harrison added two more runs in the inning on a groundout and RBI single by Aaron Jones to lead 6-2.
In the 9-0 win over Jonesboro, Harrison collected 15 hits.
Aaron Jones pitched a complete-game, three-hit shutout and added two singles as Harrison eliminated Jonesboro, which scored twice in the eighth inning on Saturday to put away Searcy 11-9. Jonesboro defeated Searcy to win the Area 2 district tournament played at Wynne.
*Zack Hale had a double and two singles as Pine Bluff eliminated defending state champion Alma 9-7.
*Jarrod Gordon hit a two-run home run to break a 2-2 tie and lead Greenwood Myers to a 4-3 victory over Pine Bluff.
The out-of-town teams dominated at the annual WynneBall Tournament played over the weekend at Wynne.
The tournament, which had been an annual event, until last year, made a successful return with more than 20 teams competing in four different age divisions.
The Memphis Travelers defeated Stuttgart's Arkansas Cowboys 18-10 to win the tee-ball title while the Marion Starzz put away the Forrest City-Wynne based Ridge Runners to win the pitching machine (6-7) division.
The Arkansas Rangers, from McCrory turned back Wynne-Moery in the 10-under championship game Saturday night while the defending 12-under state champion Sylvan Hills Mariners shut out the Benton Astros 4-0 in Sunday's 12-under championship game.
For the first time in recent years, there were no Forrest City entries into the bracket, although several Forrest City youths played with other teams.
