Mrs. Wayvone Baldwin, age 68, of Forrest City, died early Thursday
morning, June 12, 2003, at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest
City.
Born April 20, 1935, in Lee County, to Joseph Vernon and Dorothy
Story Brimmage, she was a retired medical lab technician and a
member of the Colt Baptist Church.
She was proceded in death by her husband, Allen Baldwin, in
1971, and one son, David Baldwin, in 1983.
Mrs. Baldwin is survived by two sons, Rodney and Carl Baldwin, both of Wynne; one daughter, Debbie Engler of Wheatley; three brothers, Larry Grimes of Shreveport, LA, Nick Grimes of Memphis, and Keith Grimes of Houston, TX, three sisters, Wilma Jean Stidham of Kansas City, KS, Billie Ross of Palestine, and Rhonda Bryant of Memphis; three grandchildren, John and Lance Young, Allen Doane; and three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Sierra and Charlie Doane.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday evening, June 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Morgan Chapel. Funeral services for Mrs. Baldwin will be Saturday afternoon, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the Midway Baptist Church in Palestine, with Bro. Ken Walls officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
