Dorothy Allen McKaskle

Mrs. Dorothy Allen "Aunt Dorothy" McKaskle, age 78, of Malvern and formerly of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Mrs. McKaskle was born May 8, 1925 in Dyess, the daughter of Earnest Quitman and Carrie Leona Felton Perkins. She was a retiree from Hillcrest Children's Home in Hot Springs and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Malvern.

In 1942, Mrs. McKaskle married Homer McKaskle and he preceded her in death. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation services for Mrs. McKaskle will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2003, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2003, at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Malvern with Bro. Tony Burrow and Bro. Roger Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Damascus near Greenbrier.

The family requests memorials be made to the Hillcrest Children's Home in Hot Springs.


Ronald Eugene "Ron" Morris

Mr. Ronald Eugene "Ron" Morris, age 49, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Forrest City, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at his home.

Mr. Morris, born April 19, 1954, in Los Angeles, Calif., was the son of William Lester Morris and Arlie Lois Morris. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Debby Morris, of Phoenix, Ariz.,; two daughters, Amber Morris and Jessica Morris, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Paulette Johnson of Haynes; four brothers, Bob McKaskle of Glendale, Ore.; Bill Morris and Dean Morris, both of Malvern and John Morris of Forrest City.

A memorial service for Mr. Morris will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Abundant Life Worship Center Church on Lindauer Road with Pastor John Morris in charge of services.
