Mrs. Jessie M. Clark, age 63, of West Helena and formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at Helena Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Clark was born July 15, 1939, in Houston, the daughter of Ben Lee and Dahlia Lindsey Lee. She was a housewife and a Baptist.
Mrs. Clark married Lyndel Clark in 1967, and he survives her along with a son, Eric Clark of West Helena; one daughter, Penny Taylor Martin of Forrest City, a brother, James M. Lee of Forrest City; three sisters, Bonnie Bunting of Horseshoe Bend, JoAnn Harris of Alabama and Jeanette Riddell of Forrest City; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mrs. Clark will be held on Monday,
June 23, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral
services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at 2 p.m. in
the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forrest
Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Geneva Screeton Fisher, age 82, of Forrest City, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at her home.
Mrs. Fisher was born Jan. 16, 1921, in Brinkley, the daughter of Mike Rushid and Josephine Ford. She lived in Memphis and Forrest City for most of her life and was a sales clerk.
Mrs. Fisher married Samuel Y. Fisher Sr. in 1940, and he survives her along with a daughter, Linda Fisher Devazier of Forrest City; a son, Samuel Y. Fisher Jr. of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mrs. Fisher will be held on Monday, June 23, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
