Hazel Della Campbell Frost

Mrs. Hazel Della Campbell Frost, age 89, of Clarksville, died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Frost, an educator and housewife, was the daughter of John L. Campbell and Mamie Marie Moore Campbell. She was a Methodist by faith and is survived by her husband, Wiley Lee Frost; a daughter, Joan Frost of Waterloo, Wisc.; two sons, Roger Frost of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and John Frost of Clarksville; a sister, Jewell Donovan of Little Rock; a brother, William David Campbell of Little Rock; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Frost was preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Phillips and Fern Kelly and a brother, John Campbell.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frost will be held on Monday, June 30, 2003, at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Clarksville with Rev. Steve Wingo officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Airy Cemetery in Clarksville under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.

The family requests memorials be made to Clarksville First United Methodist Church, the University of the Ozarks or the charity of one's choice.


Danita Jones

Mrs. Danita Jones, age 48, of Marianna, died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at The Elvis Presley Regional Trauma Center in Memphis.

Mrs. Jones, born Nov. 9, 1954, in Oak Forest, the daughter of Wesley Davis and Thelma Bowen. She was a school teacher and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, John Paul Jones II of Jonesboro; a daughter, Johnna Marie Jones of Claypool, Ind.; a sister, Paula Swords of Ecru, Miss.; four brothers, Robert Davis of Russellville, Marvin Davis of Aubrey, Buddy Davis of Marianna and Donnie Bowen of Newaygo, Mich.; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Jones and her parents.

Visitation services for Mrs. Jones will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Rodger Hooker officiating.
