Nothing much changed in the Bambino 9-10 League race following Friday night's games.
Mr. T Auto is still in first place and undefeated, but just barely, while Cochran Auto remains tied with Joey's Muffler for second place.
Even though Derrick CPA suffered a loss, the team kept its hold on third.
Mr. T improved to 7-0 for the year by putting away Arkansas Electric in a squeaker 6-5.
Mr. T used a single run in the bottom of the fourth to break a 5-5 tie when Chatman Tucker scored the winning run.
Arkansas Electric scored three times in the top of the first and Mr. T tied the game with three in the bottom part of the inning.
After taking a 4-3 lead in the top of the second Arkansas Electric fell behind 5-4 when Mr. T Auto pushed two runs across in the bottom of the second.
Arkansas Electric tied the game at 5-5 in the top of the third when Jacob Tittle scored his third run of the game.
Cochran Auto held off Giffin's 6-3 getting two runs each from Ladarius Townsend and Jarvis Bolden.
Joey's rolled past Derrick CPA 11-1 getting two runs each from Cadarius Parchman, Marlon McShan, Charles Anderson and Dusty Smith. Nathan Derrick scored the lone run for Derrick CPA.
Finally, it was National Carpet One winning for the second time this season, edging Sanyo 8-7.
In the Minor League pitching machine games played Friday, Devazier Brothers got runs from everyone in the lineup to post a 26-2 win over Hill's Delta Concrete while T&J Properties rolled up Lion's Club 15-3.
In the 10-under slow pitch league, Stevens stayed in control of the National Division side while Food Giant held their ground and the top spot in the American Division side.
Stevens moved to 9-1 for the year with a 16-2 win over Pizza Inn while Food Giant did the same with a 14-3 win over Forrest City Bank.
Walker Insurance and Dr. Schawartz are in second place in each of the divisions.
Walker stopped Title Company's winning streak at two games with a 9-2 win while Schwartz held off Southern Furniture 7-2.
Both teams are 8-2 for the year.
In the final game of the night, True Value improved to 4-6 with a 12-7 win over Sanyo.
Schwartz, Stevens and Food Giant will play in the 10-under district tournament Friday and Saturday at the Sports Complex.
Stevens and Schwartz will play Friday night while Food Giant plays Saturday morning.
The Forrest City Travelers defeated Cochran's Delta Storm 13-0
in the 10-under division championship game played Sunday afternoon.
The Travelers finished undefeated.
The Ridge Runners 7-year-old pitching machine team are headed to World Series next month in Louisiana.
The Judsonia All-Stars didn't let that bother them Sunday, handing the Ridge Runners an 11-9 loss in the championship game at the Forrest City Baseball Bash tournament played at the Sports Complex.
Judsonia entered Sunday's championship round at 2-2 after four games on Saturday.
In the 12-under division, the Forrest City Fireballs held off Wynne 7-1 to take the tournament title. The Forrest City Travelers won the 10-under tournament title.
