Mr. Rodney Neal O'Dell, age 43, of Colt, died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. O'Dell was born Aug. 2, 1959, in Truman, the son of James Thomas and Elizabeth Rosalee Pierce O'Dell. He was an employee of Fulbright-McNeil, Inc. in Wynne.
Mr. O'Dell is survived by his wife, Teresa Diane Matlock O'Dell; both his parents of Wynne; a daughter, Jennifer Diane O'Dell of Colt; one brother, Jimmy Allen O'Dell of Wynne; and three sisters, Deborah Kay Carter of Wynne, Sandra Lynn Moise of West Memphis and Belinda Marie Adams of McCrory.
Visitation for Mr. O'Dell was held on Sunday, March 30, 2003, in the Chapel of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in Wynne. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 31, 2003, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in Wynne with Rev. Howard Collier officiating. Burial followed in Loughridge Cemetery in Colt.
The family requests that memorials be made to the donors favorite charity.
Mrs. Mamie Wade, age 97, of Madison, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at her home.
Mrs. Wade was born Dec. 10, 1905, in Shaw, Miss., the daughter of Albert White and Melissa Parmer White. She was a housewife.
Mrs. Wade is survived by four nieces, Ida Cowin of the home, Lorene Sanders of Chicago, Ill., Geraldine Jones of Azusa, Calif. and Ann Clark of Memphis; three nephews, William White of Madison, Jamie White of Vicksburg, Miss. and Charles White of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and several Godchildren, other family members and friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Wade was held on Friday, March 28, 2003, at the New Light M.B. Church. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 29, 2003, at the New Light M.B. Church with Rev. Isiah McKeon officiating. Burial followed in the Scott Bond Cemetery in Madison. The J.E. Kennedy Funeral Home in Marianna was in charge of all arrangements.
Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Wallace, age 69, of Bullhead, Ariz. and formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband, Zack Wallace Jr.; three daughters, Doris Colvin of Forrest City, Patricia Parrish of Marianna and Shannon DiMare of Bullhead; two sons, Robert Shands of California and Kenneth Wallace of Bullhead; two brothers, Arthur Shankle and Billy Shankle both of Forrest City; two sisters, Polly Acree of California and Doris Greenlee of Florida; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Shankle, her mother, Vivian Shankle and a sister, Myrtle B. Scott.
