The Forrest City Mustangs are enjoying Spring Break this week.
The Jacksonville Red Devils are enjoying their Spring Break a little more.
Jacksonville jumped two games above .500 last Friday by sweeping Forrest City in AAAAA-East Conference action at Dupree Park.
The Red Devils won the first game of the doubleheader 11-1, ending the affair in the sixth inning using the 10 run, after five inning rule.
The second game was longer, as the Red Devils survived a Forrest City rally to take a 13-9 win in eight innings.
The Red Devils held a 4-2 advantage going into the bottom of the fifth inning of game two, but five consecutive errors in the infield led to a six-run burst by Forrest City.
The Mustangs will host Blytheville at the Sports Complex on Tuesday, April 1, for a scheduled doubleheader.

Even though the initial registration process for the Forrest City Recreation Department's youth baseball and softball leagues has passed, the program continues its late sign-up process.
And so far the program's overall numbers are just where they need to be.
Especially in the program's T-Ball league, where the number of players registered is up dramatically from season's past.
Program Director Kenneth Taylor said sign-ups for each of the boys' baseball leagues and the three girls' softball leagues "have been better than expected."
Youth players signing up late will be charged an additional $5 and will be randomly placed on a team.
The only league that is suffering and may even cease to exist this summer, is the adult women's softball league.
As of today, Taylor said only three teams had shown interest.
Meanwhile, the adult men's softball league may show more teams this year.
Taylor said the Sports Complex will host a number of district tournaments this summer as well as some other week-end tournaments.
"All of that information will be released soon," Taylor said.
If Louisiana Tech Coach Kurt Budke knows about Lady Techster history then he is well aware that Louisiana Tech holds the overall edge in 20 previous matchups against Louisiana State University.
Since the 1974-75 season, which marked the first meeting between the two teams, the Lady Techsters are 14-6 against the LSU Lady Tigers.
Budke's sixth-ranked Lady Techsters will try to tack on one more victory Sunday when the two teams meet in a West Regional semifinal showdown in Palo Alto, Calif.
The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. tip off.
La Tech, the No. 5 seed in the West Region, advanced to the regional semifinal by defeating Ohio State 74-61 Tuesday night in Ruston.
The third-ranked and No. 1 seeded LSU Tigers downed Wisconsin-Green Bay 80-69 Saturday night in Eugene, Oregon to advance.
The last meeting between the two schools came in the 1999 West Regional Semifinals with Tech winning 73-52 in Los Angeles.
Former Palestine-Wheatley standout Erica Smith is a sophomore forward for the Lady Techsters.
