Ms. Elsie Winters McKissick, age 87, of Little
Rock, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003.
Ms. McKissick was born January 13, 1916, in
Jericho, Arkansas and was a retired nursing assistant. She is
survived by one son, George Alfred Winters, Jr., of Forrest City;
four daughters, Willie Jean Dukes and Lillie Mae Winters, both
of Chicago, Illinois; Verlow Ann Winters and Gladys J. Wheeler,
both of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Dorethia "Dot"
Anderson of St. Louis, Missouri and Plummie Willis of Chicago,
Illinois.
Visitation services for Ms. Winters will be
held on Friday, May 2, 2003, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Goodwin
Church of God in Christ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday,
May 3, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Goodwin Church of God in Christ
with Elder A.D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest
City at the Casteel Cemetery.
