Mr. James A. "Butch" Leoppard, age 57, of Heth, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Leoppard was born Oct. 17, 1945, in Forrest City, the son of Troy W. Leoppard and Laura Mildred "Midge" Leoppard. He lived in the St. Francis County area for most of his life, was a past employee of the Rock Island Railroad and a Baptist.
Mr. Leoppard is survived by a son, James Clark Leoppard of Miami, Okla.; two daughters, Kammi Stowe of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Piper Leigh Wagner of Harker Heights, Texas; his mother of Forrest City; one brother, Todd Leoppard of Helena; one sister, Patsy R. Davis of West Memphis, and four grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mr. Leoppard will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held graveside at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2003, at Forrest Park Cemetery.
