Mr. Chester Craig Eldridge, age 49, of Stuttgart, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Eldridge was born June 17, 1953, in Forrest City, the son of Rolfe Chambliss and Virginia Eldridge. He was retired from the Arkansas Department of Corrections as the SATP Coordinator, was a former teacher at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, a former president of the board of HDRS and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy King Eldridge; two daughters, Bliss Eldridge and Crystal Cook both of Stuttgart; a brother, Pat Eldridge of Marietta, Ga.; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by both his parents and a sister, Becky Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart with Bro. Sam Morgan officiating.
