The T-Ballers got started Tuesday but couldn't finish.
In a scenario that is becoming very familiar, thunderstorms rolled through the area once again, washing away Tuesday's schedule of youth baseball and softball games.
It was the T-Ball leagues second rain out date of the early season.
Losing Tuesday night's games leaves the youth baseball and softball programs down 44 games.
Factor in the adult men's softball league and the total reaches 48 rain out games.
T-Ball has lost two playing dates while the Minor League (pitching machine) has been rained out three times.
The Bambino 9-10 League has lost two playing dates while the 11-12-year-old league is down just four games.
Junior Babe Ruth is only three games behind while the 10-under slow-pitch softball league has lost 10 games so far.
The 12-under and 16-under fast pitch softball leagues have lost just one playing date to rain so far.
The adult men have been rained out just once.
As of this morning, no make up dates have been set by Forrest City Recreation Director Kenneth Taylor.
In past years, Taylor has scheduled make up games on Saturdays and has scheduled doubleheaders whenever feasible.
The remainder of the week's schedule could be in jeopardy as well with more rain being forecast for Thursday and into Friday.
However, due to Forrest City High School graduation ceremonies on Friday, no youth games wil be played.
The schedule will resume on Monday, weather permitting.
