T&J Properties rolled on to 6-0 Tuesday night to lead the Minor League (pitching machine) by two games using a 26-1 win over JB Sports.
Ten of T&J's 11 roster players scored at least one run in the victory led by Delan Parkman, Tyrin White, Reed Wingo, Matt Jumper, Jacob Siler and Keaton Johnson, who scored three runs each.
Through six games, T&J has outscored their opponents 122-to-7 and is averaging more than 20 runs per game. The team has posted three shut out victories in six outings.
In Tuesday's second Minor League game, Devazier Brothers took over sole possession of second place by defeating Easley Law 18-4.
JB Sports' loss to T&J dropped the team from a tie for second with Devazier into third place.
Nick Wright scored four times to lead Devazier while Harrison Devazier and Terry White scored three runs each.
Freeman scored two times for Easley.
*In Bambino 9-10 League play, Sanyo ended a two-game losing streak with an 8-6 win over Arkansas Electric.
Arkansas Electric led 6-2 after scoring five times in the top of the third inning before Sanyo answered with five runs in the bottom of the inning to lead 7-6. Sanyo added a single run in the fourth to set the final.
Xavier Lewis and Austin Kennedy scored two times each for Sanyo while Robert Lee and A.J. Martin scored twice for Arkansas Electric. Lewis picked up the pitching victory while Michael Ludwig and Martin combined for Arkansas Electric.
Cochran Auto moved into second place with a 19-6 win over National Carpet One, displacing Joey's Muffler, dropping them into third place, even though Joey's (3-2) picked up an 8-6 win over Giffin's Grins.
Cochran (4-1) used a pair of big innings to do their damage, scoring five times in the first and adding 10 runs in the third, sending 14 batters to the plate.
Fletcher Myers, Marcus Scott and Rico Spears led the way by scoring three times each. Cochran used four pitchers in the game.
Mr. T Auto stayed unbeaten in the league with a 12-0 win over Derrick CPA.
Devin Green, Chatman Tucker and Ryan Green led the way for Mr. T, who improved to 5-0 in the league.
Derrick had only seven base runners in the game.
Joey's got two runs from Lloyd Hamilton and single runs from Charles Anderson, Corey, Robichaud, Cadarius Parchman, Demond Watson and Marlon McShan in the win.
Brian Morgan, Kyiler King, RoRo Steverson, Raheem Wynne and Antonio Sanders all scored for Giffins, 1-4 for the year.
Dr. Schwartz and Food Giant kept pace in the girls 10-under slow-pitch softball league Tuesday as both won and both stand at 4-1 for the year to remain in a first-place tie in the American Division side of the league.
Food Giant downed Sanyo 14-4 and Schwartz defeated Title Company 8-3.
Schwartz got two runs from Katie Barnes and single runs from DaJar Wynne, Andrea Hall, Brittney Tracy, Amy Casey and Cara McCollum in their win over Title Company. Food Giant scored four times in the first inning and then added their five-run limit in the second and third to get their win over Sanyo.
KeKe King, Deidra White, Kim Norment and Lachassity Phillips scored twice for Food Giant.
Makayla Metcalf, Maggie Pipkin, Danielle Harris and Rodshanik Brown scored single runs for Sanyo.
In the National Division side, Stevens continued to hold onto first place with a 13-2 win over Southern Furniture.
Stevens is 5-0 for the year while second-place Walker Insurance is 4-1 after defeating Forrest City Bank 10-3. Walker got three runs from Lakeria Lucas and two runs from Kelsey Morris.
Stevens got at least one run each from every roster player, led by Kayla Baney, Tiffany Eckford and Kaitlyn Peterson. Brandi Morgan and Whitney Morgan scored single runs for Southern Furniture.
True Value put away Pizza Inn 13-2 and improved to 2-3 for the year.
Molly Howard and Fredenzia Smith led True Value by scoring two runs each while Ashley Smith and Kimberly Jones added two runs.
FORREST CITY -- The East Arkansas Community College (EACC) Department of Community Education will sponsor a pair of summer camps.
Dulins Sports Academy of Memphis will hold a baseball camp for youths, ages 6-12, on Sunday, June 8, from 2 until 5 p.m., on the EACC playing field.
The camp is designed to help boys and girls improve their baseball skills with help from the coaches from Dulins.
The camp will feature such drills as throwing, batting, base-running and fielding
Campers will be given a T-shirt and will grouped and coached according to age and skill level.
A Kids Fishing Clinic, for ages 8-12, will be held Monday and Tuesday, July 7-8, from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
The clinic will be held at the EACC Learning Resource Center, Room B-129
Specialists from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will conduct the two-day fishing clinic.
Instruction and activities will include take-home crafts, lures, tackle, equipment, fishing biology, fish habitats, water safety and everything to do with catching a fish.
An afternoon fishing derby will be held at a nearby fully stocked lake.
Campers will need to bring a sack lunch each day for a picnic. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Campers will also be given a fully stocked tackle box.
Class size is limited to 25 kids, so sign up early!

The dates and times for the upcoming Forrest City Mustang/Lady Mustang basketball camps have been set.
The elementary camp, for boys and girls, 4th-6th grade, will be held June 9-12 and the junior high camp for boys and girls, 7th-9th grade, will be held June 16-19.
The girls will meet from 8 until 11 a.m., each day while the boys' session is from 12 noon until 3 p.m. at Mustang Arena.
Cost per individual camper is $20 and forms may be obtained at Mustang Arena or from the appropriate offices.
