Lillian Lee Montgomery

Mrs. Lillian Lee Montgomery, age 85, of Widener, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

Mrs. Montgomery was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Winfield, Ala., the daughter of William Hartley Keenum and Elizabeth Keenum. She lived in St. Francis County for most of her life, was a homemaker and a member of Widener Pentecostal Church.

Mrs. Montgomery is survived by a nephew, Dalton Weeks of Palestine; three nieces, Dean Holt, Rachel Littlefield and Faye Bridges all of Palestine, and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Montgomery were held graveside on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Forrest Park Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.


Sarah Elizabeth Taylor

Ms. Sarah Elizabeth Taylor, age 81, of Madison, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.

Ms. Taylor was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Forrest City, the daughter of Mitchel Taylor and Opal Butler Taylor. She lived in Madison for most of her life and was a member of the Madison Methodist Church.

Ms. Taylor is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Leopard of Madison and June Fetzer of Forrest City, and several other friends and family members.

Funeral services for Ms. Taylor were held on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial followed in Forrest Park Cemetery.
