Mr. Scott Chamberlin Hubbard Sr., age 87, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Hubbard was born Nov. 8, 1915, in Pontiac, Mich, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hubbard. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was formerly employed as an estimator for Young Sales, Inc. in Nashville. He was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church in Nashville for over 65 years.
Mr. Hubbard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sara Kinzly Hubbard; a son, Scott Hubbard Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Shirley Mott of Forrest City; three grandchildren and several other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Hubbard on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorial be made to the Belmont United Methodist Church, 2007 Acklen Ave., Nashville, Tenn, 37212, or the charity of one's choice.
