Mrs. Mary Louise Pruitt, age 55, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Pruitt, born July 2, 1948, in Forrest City, was the daughter of John Henry Jones and Lula Higgins Jones. She is survived by her husband, L.Q. Pruitt of Forrest City; one daughter, Lanan Pruitt Reese of Jackson, Tenn.; two sons, Michael E. Pruitt of San Diego, Calif., and Christopher L. Pruitt of Forrest City; both her parents; two sisters, Joanna Johnson and Lula A. Jones, both of Forrest City; two brothers, John H. Jones Jr. and Jerry Jones, both of Forrest City and eight grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Pruitt will be held Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with V.B. Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
