Mr. Carl Benton Bickerstaff, age 86, of Caldwell, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at his home. He was a farmer, a member of the Earle Masonic Lodge and a member of the Gladden Baptist Church.
Mr. Bickerstaff is survived by his wife, Lorane Westmoreland Bickerstaff of Caldwell; two daughters, Martha Jane LaGrone of Caldwell and Jacque Sue Key of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Danny Ray Bickerstaff and Sammie Carl Bickerstaff both of Caldwell, a sister, Faye Westmoreland of Olive Branch, Miss.; a brother, John Martin Bickerstaff of Caldwell; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Bickerstaff will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at 1 p.m., in the Chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Burial will follow in Crittenden Memorial Park.

Mrs. Rosie Ellen Watters Deere, age 82, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003.
Mrs. Deere was born Nov. 7, 1921, in Hoxie, the daughter of William and Ida Watters. She made her home in Forrest City most of her life, was a housewife and a member of the Forrest City Church of God.
Mrs. Deere was married to Cleburne "Red" Deere and he preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by one son, Charles E. Deere of Forrest City; one sister, Toby Miller of Forrest City; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Deere will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Other arrangements are incomplete at this time.
Mr. Justin Jonathan Love, age 20, of Wheatley, died Sunday, Aug. 31, in Little Rock. He was born Oct, 6, 1982, in Brinkley, the son of Gregory Love Sr. and Linda Clay Love. He was an employee of the Remington Arms Company of Lonoke, a 2001 graduate of Palestine-Wheatley High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Wheatley.
Mr. Love is survived both his parents; a daughter, Makaya Love of Jonesboro; two brothers, Gregory Love Jr. and Mario Love both of Wheatley; two sisters, Shavon Love of Fargo, Ill. and Nakita Love of Wheatley; six step brothers, Michael Frazier and Robert Hollister both of Kansas City, Mo., Cedric Harris of Los Angeles, Calif., Oscar Harris and Patrick Harris both of Spokane, Wash. and Michael Harris of Moro. He is also survived by three step-sisters, Jacqueline Hollister of Kansas City, Mo., Angela Metcalf of Brinkley and Tina Harris of Moro; maternal grandparents, George Clay of Wheatley and Ophelia Clay of Little Rock, Major Hollister of Fargo; maternal great-grandmother, Pearlie Bowers of Carlise; paternal grandmother Lavada Tyson of Flint, Mich. and a host of other relatives and friends.
A wake for Mr. Love will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Branscumb-Johnson-Gilchrest Funeral Home Chapel, in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at 11 a.m., at the Wheatley Civic Center with Rev. Albert McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.
