Mrs. Michiyo David, of Nebraska, died Monday, April 19, 2004,
at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Neb. Funeral services are incomplete
at this time. The Stevens Funeral Home will be in charge of all
arrangements.
Mrs. Mary Louise Dearrington, age 89, of Forrest City, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Dearrington was born Feb. 19, 1916, in Forrest City, the daughter of Ruffin T. Brown and Mary Roland Brown. She lived in Forrest City all of her life, was an employee of Dean's Restaurant and a member of the Landmark M.B. Church.
Mrs. Dearrington married Bruce Dearrington in 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1979. She is survived by her daughter, Patsie Johnson of Umpire; two sisters, Mildred Stevens of Parsons, Tenn. and Libby Boswell of Forrest City; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Dearrington will be Tuesday, April 20, 2004, from 6 to 7 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home, with Gary Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruth Robinson, age 80, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at her home. She was a retired farmer.
Mrs. Robinson was born July 8, 1923, in Sikeston, Mo. She is survived a a sister, Willie B. Scott of San Diego, Calif.
Visitation for Mrs. Robinson will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the New Hope for Today's Christian Center on Thursday, April 22, 2004, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Floyd Billups officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
