Mr. L. Hubert Gann, age 60, of Wynne, died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at Crossridge Hospital in Wynne.
Mr. Gann was born July 11, 1943, in Harrisburg, the son of Bill Gann and Lou Pendell Gann. He worked at Halstead for 23 years and was a member of the Wynne Church of God.
Mr. Gann married Brenda Robbins in 1973, and she survives him along with two daughters, Tonnie Gann Ponder of Colt and Terrie Gann of Wynne; a sister, Charlene Christoff of Texas and two brothers Billy Gann and Bob Gann both of Harrisburg.
Visitation for Mr. Gann will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2004,
from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will
be held in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home on Monday, May 3,
2004, at 11 a.m. with burial following in Hughes Cemetery.
Mrs. Lucy Evelyn Shackelford, age 82, of Byhalia, Miss., died Friday, April 30, 2004, at her son's home in Mississippi. She lived in Forrest City for most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Shackelford are incomplete at this time. Stevens Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
