The infant son of Crystal Brooks and Lance Dillard Sr. died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. The infant is survived by his mother of Forrest City, his father of Madison, and a brother, Lance Dillard Jr. of Forrest City.
Funeral services were held graveside at Casteel Cemetery on
Monday, April 5, 2004. The Clay Funeral Home was in charge of
all arrangements.
Mr. Joe G. Gray, age 80, of Forrest City, died Monday, April 5, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Gray was born March 27, 1924, in Forrest City, the son of Thomas Gerald Gray and Grace Donham Gray. He lived in Forrest City all of his life, was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Air Force, a retired pharmacist at Palace Drug Store, and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mr. Gray married Marion Ella Powell in 1949 and she survives him along with two sisters, Jane McMurry of Forrest City and Ruth Ann Gray of Memphis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Gray will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2004, graveside at 2 p.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery.
