Betty Lou Coleman Baker

Ms. Betty Lou Coleman Baker, age 70, of Palestine, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at her home in Palestine.

Ms. Baker, born June 8,1934, in Forrest City, was the daughter of Gamble Lee Nichols and Audrey Hunt Nichols Fickle. She lived in Palestine for most of her life and was retired from Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and attended the Old Fashion Baptist Church in Palestine.

Ms. Baker is survived by two sons, Michael Coleman Sr., of Colt and Jerry Leon Coleman Sr., of Forrest City; one daughter, Brenda Sue Joy of Heber Springs; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. Baker will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at 2 p.m. in Stevens Chapel with burial following in Bell Cemetery.
