Mr. Andrew "Kido" Banks, age 55, of Forrest City, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at his home. Mr. Banks was born Dec. 16, 1948, in Forrest City, the son of Amos Banks and Dorothy McDowell Banks.
Mr. Banks is survived by both his parents of Forrest City; nine sisters, Emma McDaniel of Newark, Calif., Annie Doyle of Palestine, Relora Wilson, Mary Banks, Eva Defrance, Rosie Patton and Teresa Banks all of Forrest City, Patrice Burnside and Linda Banks both of Little Rock; and four brothers, Amos Banks Jr. of Blackjack, Mo., Arthur Banks and Adell Banks both of Memphis and Patrick Banks of Colt.
Visitation for Mr. Banks will be held on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, from 12 to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Pilgrim's Rest M.B. Church with Rev. Lee Hamilton Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
