James Roy Bellinger

Mr. James Roy Bellinger, age 84, of Marion, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at the Johnson Hobson Care Home in Marion.

Mr. Bellinger was a farmer, World War II veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Bellinger of Marion; a daughter, Susan Cordell of Heth; two sons, Mike Bellinger and Ricky Bellinger both of Forrest City; two sisters, Ellen Gillis and Peggy Brewington both of Auburndale, Fla.; one brother, Elton Bellinger of Auburndale, Fla.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Bellinger will be held graveside at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at 12 p.m. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis is in charge of all arrangements.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church.


Margie Marie Jordan

Mrs. Margie Marie Jordan, age 72, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at her home.

Mrs. Jordan was retired from General Industries, a homemaker and a member of the House of Prayer Church in Colt. She is survived by two sons, Marvin Jordan of Forrest City and Emmett Jordan of Searcy; one daughter, Dorothy Franks of Forrest City; one step-son Lloyd Harold Jordan of California; and one step daughter Shirley Thurmond of Forrest City; two brothers, Billy Crossland of Texas and Boysen Crossland of Paragould; two sisters, Edna Cummings of Forrest City and Mary Coulter of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Jordan on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at the House of Prayer Church in Colt. Burial followed at the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.


Hays McMickle

Mr. Hays McMickle, age 82, of Forrest City, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.

Mr. McMickle was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Pine Tree, the son of Ed McMickle and Verlin Ellis McMickle. He lived in Forrest City for most of his life, was retired from Cohen's Department Store, was a veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the VFW and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Mr. McMickle married Dora Key in 1954 and she survives him along with one son, John McMickle of West Helena; one daughter, Frances Waldron of Mobile, Ala.; one sister, Margie Hodges of Russellville; three grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mr. McMickle will be held at Stevens Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 6. 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.


Robert K. Paigen

Mr. Robert K. Paigen, age 77, of Oregon, Ill., and formerly of Forrest City and St. Charles, Ill., died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon, Ill.

Mr. Paigen was born May 23, 1927, in Queens, N.Y., was the son of Joseph and Ila Mae (Crews) Paigen. He was a painter and decorator, retiring after 34 years and was a member of the Chicago Painter and Decorator Union Local #194. He was also a member of Village Creek M.B. Church in Forrest City.

Mr. Paigen is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Jo Paigen; a son, Darrell Paigen of Oregon, Ill.; two daughters, Diana Catalano of Rochelle, Ill., and Linda Sorensen of St. Charles, Ill.; two sisters, Neomi Hall of Enid, Miss., and Carlene Russell of California; a brother, Rudy Brown of Enid, Miss.; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a son Farrell J. Paigen in 1987.

Funeral services for Mr. Paigen were held on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Norris Funeral Home in St. Charles, Ill., with Rev. Albert Young officiating. Burial followed in River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, Ill.,
