Mr. Claude Berry, age 73, of Forrest City, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Berry was born March 8, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Claude Berry Sr. and Blanche Clay Berry. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Sanyo Manufacturing. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Berry is survived by two daughters, Claudia Berry Edwards of Pontoon, Ill., Doris Harris of Stockton, Calif., one son, Keith Bailey of St. Louis, Mo., and seven grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Berry will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16, from noon to 5 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at St. Luke A.M.E. Church with Johnny Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in West Tennessee National Cemetery.
