Mrs. Marie Long, age 91, of Memphis, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at the Memphis Health Care and Rehab Center in Memphis.
Mrs. Long was born Aug. 3, 1913, in Haynes, the daughter of W.T. Hurst and Myrtle Grant Hurst. She lived in Haynes until 1977 when she moved to Memphis. She was a housewife, a member of the Bartlett United Methodist Church and a member of the Moose.
Mrs. Long married Guy R. Long in 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1975. She is survived by one daughter, Waneta Long Tyler of Memphis and several other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Long were held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
