Lizzie Buchanan Kitchens

Mrs. Lizzie Buchanan Kitchens, age 90, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.

Mrs. Kitchens was born June 7, 1914, in Heber Springs, the daughter of James Ezra Buchanan and Lethea Neal Buchanan. She lived in St. Francis County for most of her life, was a housewife and a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church.

Mrs. Kitchens married Fletcher R. Kitchens and he preceded her in death in 1966. She is survived by two daughters, Martha Ruth Rose and Myrtle Faye Kitchens both of Forrest City; three sons, Sam E. Kitchens of Springdale, James R. Kitchens of Marianna and David L. Kitchens of Proctor and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Fletcher Linell Kitchens earlier this year.

Visitation for Mrs. Kitchens will be held on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home.


Deborah McGinnis

Ms. Deborah McGinnis, age 46, of Bradford, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in Bradford.

Ms. McGinnis was the daughter of Torris Duncan and Hazel M. Duncan and was a waitress.

Ms. McGinnis is survived by her father of Bradford; her mother of Forrest City; one son, Billy L. "Bubba" Lindsey Jr. of Bradford; three grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Ms. McGinnis will be held Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home.
