The Palestine-Wheatley basketball teams will play a "make-up" game tonight at Gillett.
The game, originally scheduled to be played in late November, was cancelled.
Tonight's date was the only one available for either team and both schools were granted special permission from the Arkansas Activities Association to play tonight. The game means P-W will play three times this week.
The Patriots played at Clarendon Tuesday and are scheduled to play at Barton Friday night.
AAA regulations limit varsity teams to just two playing dates per week, but there are exceptions which can be made when it comes to rescheduling games.
In the first meeting between Gillett and P-W, the Gillett Lady Wolves defeated the P-W girls while the P-W Patriots took a win over Gillett.
The Patriots, at 6-2 in the 6AA Conference, are fighting to stay in the top four spots behind Altheimer and Elaine.
Tonight's three-game set begins at 5 p.m., with a junior high girls game, followed by the senior girls and the senior boys.
Also on tap tonight, the Forrest City junior high basketball teams will host West Memphis West at Mustang Arena.
The Junior Mustangs are in second place in the AAAAA-East after losing to Jonesboro MacArthur Monday night.
Forrest City is 7-2 in the conference with games remaining against West, Blytheville and Jonesboro Annie Camp while MacArthur is 9-1 with two games remaining.
Tip off tonight will be at 5 p.m.
