Virginia Chisum

Mrs. Virginia Chisum, age 79, of West Memphis, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis.

Mrs. Chisum, a member of First Baptist Church of West Memphis and a Sunday School teacher, was a homemaker and a member of the Bridge Club. She is survived by her husband, Claude Chisum of West Memphis; two daughters, Pat Thomas of Clarkdale, Anne Turner of Corinth, Miss.; a son, John Harbine of Turrell; a step-daughter, Liz Charanza of Brownwood, Texas; a step-son David Chisum of Dallas, Texas; four brothers, Bill Seaton of West Memphis, Bob Seaton of Marion, Dick Seaton of Henderson, Tenn., Bert Seaton of Memphis; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Chisum will be held on Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.

The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church in West Memphis or to the charity of one's choice.


Billie Jean Adamson Huffman

Mrs. Billie Jean Adamson Huffman, of Gainesville, Ga., and formerly of Forrest City, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.

Mrs. Huffman is survived by two daughters, Linda Wagner of Flowery Branch, Ga. and Donna Allen of Oakland, Ga.; two sons, Ricky Huffman of Auburn, Ga. and Randy Huffman of Lawrenceville, Ga.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Huffman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, from 5 to 9 p.m., at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Gainesville, Ga. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.


Lonnie Dwight McKee

Mr. Lonnie Dwight McKee, age 59, of Harrison and formerly of Pine Tree, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

Mr. McKee was a 1962 graduate of Wynne High School and a member of the Pine Tree Baptist Church. He was a farmer for many years receiving the Farm Family of the Year Award from Farm Bureau in the mid 1970's. He was also a truck driver for D and G Trucking Company.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Dye McKee of Harrison; two sons, Dwight McKee and Chad McKee, both of Harrison; a daughter, Marla Clayton of Europe; his mother, Louise McKee Butler of Colt; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. McKee will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at 4 p.m., at Pine Tree Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Barnishaw Cemetery at Pine Tree under the direction of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne.


Brenda Westmoreland Warren

Mrs. Brenda Westmoreland Warren, age 54, of West Memphis, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, in West Memphis. Mrs. Warren was an accountant for McCauley's, a member of the Eastern Star and a Baptist.

Mrs. Warren is survived by her husband, Oliver Warren of West Memphis; two daughters, Michelle Shannon and Marsha Brown, both of West Memphis; two step-daughters, Rae Millerd of Marion and Kelly Chandler of Sherwood; her mother, Margaret Walton of West Memphis; a sister, Reba Hughes of Wilmington, Ill.; three brothers, Gerald Walton of West Memphis, Josh Walton of Troy, Mo. and Charles Walton of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and 11 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Warren on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at 2 p.m., at Fellowship Baptist Church in Marion. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis is in charge of all arrangements.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Haven Hospice in West Memphis.
