Thelma Louise Thompson

Mrs. Thelma Louise Thompson, age 82, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Barton Chapel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by seven daughters, Betty Kennedy of West Memphis, Janie Deaton of Marked Tree, Mary May of Cherry Valley, Rebecca Lawson and Joann Ott both of Greers Ferry, Susan Kennedy of Forrest City and Kathy Lee of Wynne; and five sons, James E. Thompson of Cabot, Roy Lee Thompson of West Memphis, Perry Thompson of Calbert, Ga., Freddie Thompson of Marked Tree and Robert Thompson of Marion. She is also survived by a sister, Betty Allen of West Memphis; a brother, James West of Marked Tree; 30 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Thompson.

Visitation for Mrs. Thompson will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2004, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery.
