Mrs. Irene E. Fishburn, age 84, of Forrest City, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City.
Mrs. Fishburn was born Sept. 15, 1919, in Palestine, the daughter of John A. Smith and Lucy French Smith. She lived in St. Francis County since 1985, moving back from Kansas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Myrtle Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fishburn married Clifford Fishburn and he preceded her in death in 1985. She is survived by a brother, R.C. Smith of Williamsville, Ill.; a sister, Shirley Newton of Brandonton, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Fishburn will be held on Monday, July 19, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held graveside at Salem Cemetery in Goodwin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2004.
