Annie Caldwell

Mrs. Annie Caldwell, age 105, of Forrest City died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at Crestpark Skilled Retirement Home in Forrest City.

Mrs. Caldwell, born Sept. 1, 1898, in St. Francis County is survived by a host of relatives and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Caldwell will be held on Friday, June 4, 2004, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Beth Salem M.B. Church with Rev. Rayfield Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.


Alberta "Sister" Golatt

Mrs. Alberta "Sister" Golatt, age 80, of Haynes, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Helena Hospital in Helena.

Mrs. Golatt was born in Forrest City, Sept. 28, 1923.She is survived by seven sons, Ernest Lee Golatt Jr. of Chicago, Ill., Carl Lee Golatt of Texarkana, Roosevelt Golatt of Haynes, Luke Golatt and Ivory Golatt both of Forrest City, and Samuel Golatt and Joseph Golatt both of Little Rock; three daughters, Bertha Golatt Bennett of Oak Park, Ill., Estella Golatt Booker and Nearverdia Golatt Brown both of Haynes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lee Golatt.

Visitation for Mrs. Golatt will be held on Friday, June 4, 2004, from 12 to 5 p.m., in the Chapel of People's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. at the Spring Grove M.B. Church in Haynes with Rev. Cedric Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Haynes.
