The Middle Busters took full advantage of being the home team Monday night.
Tied at 11-11 after Gym 2000 scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning, Middle Busters was able to score a single run in the bottom half of the inning to hand Gym its first loss of the year, 12-11.
The Gym 2000 loss, coupled with Kerby's win over Laws Contracting, left the two teams in a tie for first place in the adult men's softball league.
Kerby's scored six times in the bottom of the sixth inning to hand Laws a 15-9 loss.
Gym 200 and Kerby's are both 6-1 for the year.
Middle Busters, a game back at 5-1, is in second place while Wal-Mart improves to 4-3 for the year after defeating A&M Connection 18-11.
In the final game of the night, the Head Hunters downed Food Giant 18-17.
Forrest City will host the men's and women's district tournament in July.
*The Dynamic Divas handed Chism its first loss of the season Monday, winning 8-7 in adult women's softball.
The Divas scored a single run in the bottom of the seventh inning to earn the win.
The loss leaves the two teams in a tie for first in the league. Both are 5-1 for the year.
Also Monday, Popeyes handed the lady All Stars a 16-2 loss.

Jim Bailey scored three runs Monday night to help Lucas Trucking complete a perfect season in the Bambino 11-12 League.
Lucas shut out Robert's Welding 10-0 Monday to finish the year at 10-0 with the league title.
Robert's finishes at 6-4 for the year.
In the other scheduled game, Mr. T Auto was awarded a forfeit win over Cochran Auto.
Lucas pitching struck out 14 of the 17 Robert's hitters.
Robert's had just two base runners in the game -- one in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Lucas scored three runs in the first inning, two in the third, four in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Darius Banks and Bruce Heard added two runs each for Lucas.
Taylor Glass clinched at least a share of the Junior Babe Ruth League title Monday by taking down Rotary Club 13-4.
Taylor Glass ends the year at 7-1 and can win the league title outright on Thursday by virtue of a Machen Ford loss to Forrest City Health Club.
Machen, a 15-6 winner over Cochran Monday night, is 6-1 for the year. A win over the Health Club team Thursday, would leave Machen and Taylor tied for the league title.
Garritt Clark and Tyrice Bradley combined for the Taylor Glass pitching duties Monday, holding Rotary to the four runs on just six hits.
Donnie Willis scored three runs to lead Taylor while Bradley, Barrett Beshears and James Green scored two runs each. Willis homered in the game.
Desmond Pique, Findley Scott Laws, Kennon Haynie and Jamarcus Burke each scored single runs.
William Burks scored two runs to lead Rotary.
Machen got three runs from Chance Pearson and two runs each from Mark Machen, Kellon Bowman and Taylor Chism scored two runs each.
Pearson also pitched two innings before giving way to Bowman.
Bowman hit a home run in the game.
Cochran led 5-0 after the first inning before machen rallied for seven runs in the top of the third to lead 8-5.
Easley Law and Hartman Diesel continued their winning ways Monday in the Minor (pitching machine) League.
Easley ran their record to 11-0 with a 14-4 win over Lions Club while Hartman improved to 9-2 for he year with a 13-6 win over Twillies Tigers.
Delta Breeze, which finished second Saturday at the softball district tournament in Wynne, pushed their unbeaten mark in the 12-under fast-pitch league to 8-0 Monday with a 17-15 win over Giffin's Grins.
Crowley's Ridge improved to 5-3 for the year with a 12-10 win over Food Giant.
In 16-under fast pitch league play, Bonanza clinched at least a share of the league title by turning back Pizza Inn 6-5.
Pizza Inn slips to 7-2 for the year with one game remaining. Both losses were against Bonanza and both were one-run losses.
Bonanza stands at 8-1 with one game remaining to be played.
The Dixie Chix improved to 4-5 for the year with a 16-7 win over Times-Herald while Clay Funeral Home was awarded a forfeit win over Dr. St. John.

There were nine 5K races held last Saturday at various locations across the state.
According to David Reagler, of Wynne, that is an extraordinary amount of 5Ks in one day.
Reagler was interested in the 5K schedule because he was busy planning Wynne's annual Flat As A Pancake 5K Run/Walk, held in conjunction with the city's annual Farmfest celebration.
More than 100-plus runners, from across the state and neighboring states took advantage of the flat course and entered Reagler's Pancake 5K.
Rob WIstrand of Little Rock was the overall male race winner, completing the 3.1 mile course in 17:43.
Chris Cone of Paragould was second overall while Curtis Acre of Jonesboro finished third.
Walnut Ridge runner Roger Johnson won the title of Overall Master, finishing the race in 20 minutes, 10 seconds, jus ahead of Osceola's Kevin Jarratt, who crossed the finish line in 20 minutes 25 seconds. Normen Dodson of Memphis was third.
Hope Wristrand of Little Rock was the overall female winner, completing the course in 22 minutes, 22 seconds. Jonesboro's Linda ferris was second overall while Searcy's Ruth Williams finished third.
Wynne's Mary Warren was the Female Master, completing the course in 25 minutes, 47 seconds. Bobetta Ray of Newport ran second while Jonesboro's Bonnie Smith ran third.
Forrest City's Steve Alexander ran first in the men's 220-24 age group, finishing with a time of 23 minutes, 23 seconds.
Ira Roundtree, also of Forrest City, was third in the 15-19 age group.
Shane Suiter, a regular at the annual Mightymite Triathlon, finished third in the male 35-39 age division with a time of 21 minutes 38 seconds. Jonesboro's Walter Hayes won the division while Wynne's Travis Barnes was second.
Wilbert Dawson of Palestine, another long time competitor in the Mightymite, ran second in the male 55-59 age group, completing the 5K with a time of 24:03. Zeb Carnes was first in the group while Wynne's Conrad Ledet ran third.
Jim McInturff of Forrest City finished third in the male 60-64 age group in a time of 27:29. McInturff ran behind first place finisher Lance Daugherty of Atoka and second place finisher Jackie Perkins of Tumbling Shoals.
In the women's division, Forrest City's Gabrielle Khyten-Celzo finished first in the 30-34 age group, with a time of 23:37. Reesa Cain of Jonesboro was second.
Cindy Easley of Wynne was first in the women's 40-44 age group while Cherry Valley's Sue Perry won the female 60-64 age group.
Debbie Blake of Wynne finished first in the female walk portion of the race.
Jonesboro's Alan Patterson was first of the male walkers to cross the finish line followed by Forrest City's Steven Bernard.
The 21st Mightymite Triathlon will be held Saturday, July 17, in Forrest City.
