Willa Patricia Choyce Mabry

Mrs. Willa Patricia Choyce Mabry, age 65, of Forrest City, died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital ­ Forrest City.

Mrs. Mabry, born April 17, 1938, in Madison, was the daughter of H. Porter and Salene Porter. She worked in the Forrest City School District for 44 years prior to retiring and was a pianist for Salem M.B. Church for 35 years. She was a member of Madison Light M.B. Church and is survived by a son, Allen Mabry of Forrest City.

Visitation for Mrs. Mabry will be held on Friday, March 12, 2004, from noon to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary. A wake will be held on Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Woodhouse Chapel. A second visitation service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2004, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Madison Light M.B. Church with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Scott Bond Cemetery.


Elzo Woodfork

Mr. Elzo Woodfork, age 51, of Forrest City, died Saturday, March 6, 2004.

Mr. Woodfork, a crane operator at Mueller in Wynne, was born Aug. 16, 1952, in Forrest City. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Woodfork of Forrest City; his father, Arthur Woodfork of Colt; a son, Carlos Woodfork of Parkin; a daughter Shannon Woodfork of Little Rock; six brothers, Larry Woodfork and Thedore Woodfork both of Chicago, Ill., Thedore Woodfork of Detroit, Mich., Edward Woodfork Sr. and Herman Woodfork, both of Colt, and Eric Woodfork of Widener; three sisters, Louise Goodman of Chicago, Ill., Emma Jean Bell of Pontiac, Mich., and Denise Buford of Little Rock and six grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Woodfork will be held on Friday, March 12, 2004, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2004, at 2 p.m., at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Marland Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
