Lady Mustangs name three players to All-Conference team

Forrest City Lady Mustangs senior guard Trina Wynne was named to the AAAAA-East All-Conference first team last week. Teammates Sequoria Grady and Shari Rogers were named to All-Conference second team.

Wynne was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention team as a sophomore in 2002.

Grady and Rogers will be seniors for the Lady Mustangs for the 2004-05 season. Grady started at forward for the Lady Mustangs this past season while Rogers was the team's starting point guard.

The Lady Mustangs finished the 2003-04 season at 7-20 overall and 3-11 in the AAAAA-East.

Following the final season game, Sue Jayroe announced her resignation as head coach. Jayroe had coached the Lady Mustangs for four seasons.

On Monday, the Forrest City Mustangs named senior forward Lorenzo Spearmon to the Class AAAAA All-State team; the Class AAAAA State All-Tournament Team and to the AAAAA-East All-Conference team.

Mustang teammates, Cameron Henderson and Taurus Moore, were also named to the AAAAA-East All-Conference team.
