Mrs. Anna Flora Thomas, age 83, of Wynne, died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Thomas was born June 30, 1920, in Wynne, the daughter of Gaynor Brackin Waldrep and Bertha Gertrude Sanders Waldrep. She was a lifelong resident of Cross County and a homemaker.
Mrs. Thomas is survived two brothers, Roy Waldrep and Earnie Waldrep both of Wynne and two sisters, Moline Moore and Naomi Armstrong both of Wynne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Thomas in 2002.
Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas were held on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Kernodle Funeral Home of Wynne. Burial followed in Harris Chapel Cemetery in Wynne.

Mrs. Mary Bob Rowe, age 61, of Caldwell, died Monday, May 3, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Rowe was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Jackson, Tenn., the daughter of John C. Lindsey Jr. and Floyd Estelle "Pug" Johnson Lindsey. She made her home in Caldwell for all of her life and worked for Woodruff Electric. She was a member of the Lindauer Road Church of Christ.
Mrs. Rowe married Neill Campbell Rowe in 1964 and he preceded her in death in 1979. She is survived by two sons, Lin Rowe of Tullahoma, Tenn. and Rob Rowe of Caldwell; two daughters, Kristi McCain of Forrest City and Toby Rowe of Caldwell; four brothers, Rusty Lindsey of Ghana, West Africa, Gene Lindsey of Harrison, Stevie Lindsey of Forrest City and Mark Lindsey of Corydon, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Rowe will be held on Wednesday, May 5,
2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services
will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2004, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel
of Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
Mr. Jimmy L. Williams Sr., age 62, of Brinkley, died Friday, April 30, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Williams was born Aug. 18, 1941, in Marvell, the son of John Henry Williams and Mittie V. Stewart Williams Jackson. He worked for the Forrest City School System for many years and was a coach for 25 years and a teacher for 38 years, teaching in the Hughes, Palestine, Wheatley and Forrest City school systems. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Arkansas Activities Association, Tri-County Alumni Association, the AM&N/UAPB Alumni Association, Forrest City Classroom Teachers Association, Arkansas Education Association and the National Education Association. Mr. Williams also served as a member and senior deacon for the Mount of Olive Ministries in Brinkley.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley A. Williams of Brinkley; a son, Jimmy Williams Jr. of North Little Rock; a daughter, Latonya W. Jackson of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Herbert Williams of Brinkley and Alton Williams of Little Rock; one granddaughter and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-father, R.L. Jackson.
Visitation for Mr. Williams will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Branscumb Chapel in Brinkley. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Mount Olive Ministries in Brinkley with Rev. Oscar M. Conyears officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Rest Cemetery in Brinkley. The Branscumb Johnson and Gilchrest Funeral Home in Brinkley is in charge of all arangements.
