Mrs. Mary Kathleen Martin Cross, age 70, of La Verne, Calif., died Wednesday, April 21, 2004.
Mrs. Cross was born March 24, 1934, the daughter of George "Pete" Alton and Rosia Lee Due Martin. Mrs. Cross was reared in the Forrest City, Colt and Caldwell area and was a 1954 graduate of Forrest City High School. She is survived by a daughter, Katrina Linn Cross of La Verne, Calif.; a son, Charles Kenneth Cross also of La Verne, Calif.; two brothers, Oscar Martin of Palestine and Estes Martin of Calhoun, La.; and one sister, Lois Van Meter of Decatur, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Cross.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cross were held on Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Hillside Chapel with Rev. Jim Denison officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
