Infant Breden Jade Howard of Palestine, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. The infant was the daughter of Dennis Howard and Brenda Howard.
The infant is survived by both her parents of Palestine; two brothers, Dillan Howard and Logan Howard both of the home; her paternal grandmother, Rosemary Brown of Forrest City; her paternal great-grandmother, Violet Bradford of Forrest City; and her maternal grandmother, Sue Taylor of Caldwell.
The family will hold private services. The Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Mr. Thomas E. Williford Sr., age 64, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. Mr. Williford was born Aug. 15, 1940 and was a retired attendant with Hutcherson Flying Service.
Mr. Williford is survived by his wife, Tonya Williford of Forrest City; six sons, Thomas Edward Williford Jr., James Williford, Jasper Williford, Malcolm Williford and Desmond Williford, all of Forrest City and Rodney Williford of Burleson, Texas; and three daughters, Alice Williford, Vera Williford and Daisha Williford, all of Forrest City. He is also survived by two brothers, Allen Williford of San Bernardino, Calif. and Willie Williford of St. Louis, Mo.; five sisters, Elrena Lewis and Odessa Goodwin both of Forrest City, Ollie Lee Hudson and Macola Hayes both of St. Louis, Mo. and Almenda Williford of Florrisant, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Williford will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Cornerstone M.B. Church with Pastor Theo Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery.
