Mrs. Margaret Ann Garrett, age 66, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Garrett was born March 28, 1938, in Forrest City, the daughter of Thelmer Dempsey and Clara Bieber Dempsey. She lived in St. Francis County for most of her life and was in the upholstering business.
Mrs. Garrett married Jack E. Garrett in 1976, and he preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by one son, Cameron J. Garrett of Memphis; her father, of Colt; one brother, Wayne Dempsey of Forrest City; one sister, Anita Kennedy of Colt and one grandson.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Garrett will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, with burial to follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
