Mrs. Joyce Ann Nicholson, age 54, of Forrest City, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004.
Mrs. Nicholson, born Nov. 4, 1950, in Tuckerman, was the daughter of Charlie Harrison and Virgie Belle Brandon Harrison. She lived in Forrest City for the past 30 years and was a former teacher at Calvary Christian School and the Forrest City Public Schools. She was the office manager of Earnies Snax Sales and was a member of the Red Hat Club and Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nicholson married Llyod Earnest Nicholson in 1968 and he survives her along with two sons, Mike Nicholson of Kansas City, Mo., and Kevin Nicholson of Berlin Heights, Ohio; four brothers Ed Harrison, Ronnie Harrison and Tommy Harrison, all of Georgia and Gene Harrison of Hunter; two sisters Fran Skyrme of Georgia and Lou Poskey of Newport. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Morris and two brothers, Jessie Harrison and Dale Harrison.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nicholson were held on Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial followed at 1 p.m. at the Grace Lawn Cemetery in Tuckerman under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
